The 30 day self care blueprint

in Self care

I wrote on Friday how grateful I was for being tired – thanks to having a project in the works that I am passionate about.

Well today is the day I get to share this project with you all. I feel like I have just had a baby and I am showing him around, waiting for the “oh isn’t he adorable” comments to reassure me he is as cute to you all as he is to me!

A year ago I had a vision for what I wanted to put out into the Universe, but had no idea how to start making that happen. The blog is one of many steps I have taken (including a business course and trying on some things that did not fit me so I put them back on the shelf). I trusted I would connect with the right projects and ideas at some stage and then move forward. Simplify your life was the first big step in the right direction, but I knew there was more for me to do.

The 30 day self care blueprint is the first of those projects and I hope it will resonate with you. It is a 30 day e-course I have created with Kirri White, life coach and all-around amazing woman. We have juggled family and life and worked on this and laughed and talked – maybe too much talking some days-  and today we go out on a limb and share it with you.

From our brand new website answering the question – what is the self care blueprint?:

An individualised action plan that is based on the pillars of Self-care, Self-knowledge and Self-love©. You will leave with a tangible, workable self-care plan aligned with your current life circumstances, your core values, and designed to enhance your self-worth and well-being!

This course will help you tap into your personal truth, understand your priorities and values, and formulate your own personal self-care plan.

There will be a work-book, a private Facebook group, an over-flow of support and encouragement, plus the opportunity to connect with like-minded women, who are looking to “find their simple” and live whole-hearted, inspired lives!

I hope you will check it out and either join us in June or pass it on to someone you think will benefit from the class and group.

What I really want to say today though is this – if you have something you want to do, go for it! It can be scary. It can be exciting. It can be exhausting. It can be confusing. More than anything though – it is you! You have things inside that deserve to be shared, to bring out your unique gifts to the world, to add your voice to the conversations going on.

I know especially for those of you who, like me, have been at home for years with your kids and think “what next?” I want you to look at that question with an open mind. Let go of “I am too old to do that” or “I am too out of touch” or “that is too crazy an idea” and instead think “what if” or “let me look into that” or “there must be a way to make that happen” and just try. Let yourself dream for a bit. Some things will not be practical of course (I did not say impossible, just not practical), but many can be insights into what path you should at least be exploring. Explore. Dream. Talk. Plan. Ask questions. Know it is okay to change your mind. Know it is okay to fail and start again and again until things click. Know it is never too late.

I have no idea what I will be doing in a year, but I do know it will push me and make me grow and that is all I ever really asked for in this life – to keep growing and learning and connecting.

What is it you are asking for in this life?

Find your simple,

Deb

Thanks Julie!
Everyone needs self-care – it does not have to take a lot of time, the point is to make it meaningful to you and fit it into your week as a priority (even 5-10 minute lots of time!)

What a wonderful concept and packaged awesomely!!

Hopefully the budget post-international vacation will allow this as I really feel this is exactly where I’m at.

It’s all happening! Working as a team is way more fun than flying solo in some instances and really, I couldn’t have asked for a better partner x

I feel the same – flying solo does have a downside…
