Well we have found ourselves at the end of another block of challenges.  I hope the last five weeks have found you fine tuning or getting on top of your household management so your life is simplified and stress levels reduced.

This week is a catch up week so either carry on with one of the home management areas if you needed more time and effort to get it into shape or revisit an area that we have already covered and move forward some more.

Do you need to review your goals or decide what goals you want to focus on this second half of the year?

Do you want to re-visit your vision board for a check in or update?

Is it time to review your expectations again – are they holding you back?

Do you want a feel good week? Perhaps you can revisit gratitude and kindness and work on a random acts of kindness challenge.

Have you been struggling again with setting priorities that are in line with your core values?  maybe re-evaluate your obligations, commitments and choices.

How are you going on the things you identified through your home audit? I cannot explain the odd amount of happiness I gained when I finally organised what was needed to move our dryer into the laundry and wall mount it. I often pause and sigh when I see it, and my kids even commented on how awesome a change it was. Go on and pick one thing to make happen that you know will make a difference in your day to day life – it was the best $45 + time we have spent recently on our home!

Do you still need to work more on your decluttering – objects, your wardrobe, your routines? Taking time to remove what is not needed or working for you is probably the best investment you can make into simplifying your life.

So what will it be? Let me know in the comments where you are up to, what you will work on this week and use it as an extra accountability measure to get something finished or finally take action. The next block is all about “health, beauty and wellness” and I am keen to get started. Personally this is an area I am still working on myself so will be working alongside you each week!

Challenge this week: Catch up or make progress or finish something from the last 31 weeks!

Find your simple,

Deb

I can so relate to the clothes dryer thing. I remember at our last house we got all these little things fixed before we moved out and I so wished we’d been able to enjoy them ourselves!

Definitely – that was the main reasoning behind the audit – don’t wait for someone else to enjoy your house all sorted out – enjoy it now yourself!

So desperately need and am excited about the next block! Health, beauty and wellness. Have wanted, but never succeeded, to focus on those all year!

Any area in particular Kate? It is a big area and of course I can’t attack it all so will be trying to give options for the challenges – maybe for each one i will leave a choose your own challenge option in case you have something specific you want to tackle?!

Considering I am doing absolutely nothing in the area of health, beauty and wellness at the moment, I will be thrilled to take on whatever challenges you set! Thank you.

Thanks Deb for another great block of challenges. I have conducted a home audit, and enlisted my husband to help declutter our yard. I have decluttered my wardrobe, and was able to give away clothes, shoes, and accessories that I haven’t used in over 2 years. My goals for this week and weeks to come are to organize my office and paperwork, create a cleaning schedule, and intentionally creating a wardrobe just for Me! I am grateful for the catch up week. I am super excited about the next block of challenges. I am still hanging in here!
Have a great week!

Some great ideas for catch-up week! When I read the random act of kindness idea, it helped me to make a much needed decision on what to do with my garage sale items that I have gathered while packing for our new house. I have a few plans lined up to implement in our new home including menu planning and keeping a well stocked pantry and freezer (lists are ready to go!) and ideas or systems that will help keep us organized (with room for tweaking as we get used to the new space)! I think taking the time to pack organizedly (if I can say that!) with things I have learned from this block in the forefront of my mind will make this a pretty fun move!! I am looking forward to the next block and also to having more time to carch up with all other SYL blogs…including my own!

Can’t wait to hear how your move goes and how this helped change how you went about that. Good luck!

Oh Deb, you darling girl. You are indefatigable. I am so impressed at your generosity of spirit in still plugging away at this project when you must feel like a break. Although I rarely comment, now that I love what you’re doing it and am still printing and filing these posts every week. One day I will have time to actually use them ☺. J x
