Here we are in week 25 of the 52 week challenge. If your math skills are as good as mine you will realize we are fast approaching the halfway mark. Woo hoo and thank you to those that are still reading along, those that are blogging and those that have told me how much change has taken place in their life so far.
We just spent a month going through our stuff/objects and our clothes decluttering to get to what we really want to have and use in our homes. You will have conducted an audit of your home so you have an idea of what you could tackle in the maintenance, organization or decorating of your home to make it work best for you. Don’t wait until a day comes when you will move and then suddenly you make your home appealing to others – make it appealing to you. We also looked at what your clutter pressure points are and are working to prevent clutter building up again. If you just got rid of three pairs of black trousers out of five you owned do not go out this year and buy two more black pants in the sales.
This week is a catch up / catch your breath week. Use the week to further your decluttering efforts, work out your clutter prevention plan or catch up on any weeks of the challenge. Next week we will move on to household management and spend time looking closer at everything from habits to cleaning routines to paper / information management.
So….. how are you going? Who is still with me – blogging or at home?
