I woke up this morning to a note that Justine at Full Belly Sisters had passed on the Kreativ Blogger award to me. It asks you to include 10 random facts about yourself, but I already shared 100 of those random facts in my 100th and 101st posts so won’t kill myself coming up with any more – if you want to read about how I was kidnapped in Jordan or why I cannot stand the sound of silverware touching go check out those posts – you will certainly get to know me better.
The part of the award I liked was highlighting 6 other bloggers and decided to take today to feature five Queensland bloggers I have had the pleasure of meeting in the last 2 months at different meet ups and events + one Queensland blogger who you should check out for both her craftiness and her blog tips.
Cate at Life Behind the Purple Door - love that she is not just hanging out on pinterest drooling over ideas, but taking action and actually making things. She is posting “less pinterest more do” on her blog.
Trudie at My Vintage Vow lets me enjoy vintage treasures and flea market finds – she can pull together an outfit or a crafty gift for only a handful of dollars – love it!
Anne at Domesblissity has got you covered in so many ways – as her banner says – food, family, fun and frugality.
Gillian from Tessie Girl is a designer, artist, blogger and more. We had to travel across town to a blogger meet up to find out we live less than five minutes apart. She makes the coolest bags (and more) and I am a handbag addict so let’s just say we will be meeting up for coffee soon!
Hayley from Happy Housewifey and I met at the recent Power of Moms retreat, but had been connected via our facebook pages before then. She has a bit of everything going on over there and is such a lovely person.
Lastly, Tonya from The Crafty Mummy – love her blog for crafty inspiration, blogging tips with such clear how to’s including photo editing tips, and most recently I ordered my new business card holder from her and she made it special order to match my red, white and black blog theme (see below and check out her shop). LOVE it – so many people who amaze me with their use of a sewing machine – and I love how easy it is to support local mothers with their online shops.
So go check out these awesome Queensland bloggers. If you have a blogger you woudl love to highlight today please share in the comments or post something on your facebook page promoting them today – everyone likes to know someone loves what they do.
