Life’s little pleasures

in Gratitude

This week has been intense for me. Kids back to school, husband most likely committed to working away from home for many more months, led my first webinar live and dealt with technology issues and embarrassment (but got there in the end).

This week I am grateful for all the little pleasures my life has to offer. I hope to never take them for granted.

They lift me up.

They soothe my soul.

They make me smile.

They make me laugh.

They make me exhale.

 fun nail polish colours

 jokes with my girls

 holding hands

♥ cold drinks

 striped tops

 flowers

 cool breezes

 funny movies

 soft towels

 1st coffee of the day

 ripe fruit

 comfy jeans

 wrapped in a blanket

 new sheets – bright teal

 embroidery floss

 candles

 cushions

 butterflies

 long walks

 lists

 notebooks

♥ lipstick

crunchy apples – must be crunchy

 someone else washing the dishes

bright green belt

♥ a second coffee

stroking my dog’s soft ears or her belly

♥ my child leaning into me on my pillow

my dog laying across my lap

late visits to the library – a new discovery

 arms full

♥ someone by my side

♥ new friends

 meeting for coffee

 a new stitching project

 cheap DVD rental night

inspiring blogs

 anticipation

 landing on your feet

 handstands and cartwheels

What are you grateful for this week?

Find your simple,

Deb

What a great list Deb.
My list would have among others:
Warm blankets
Hot tea
Morning cuddles
and those quiet looks between family that speak love, no words needed

Thanks Shell – yes i started it this week on a tea towel – i took one of my hand doodled flowers and redrew it on the material – learned the hard way not to attempt hearts again for a while – so hard!! They appear on the outer edges of the flowers – will post a pic when the whole thing is done – going to play more – probably end up framing it instead of using tea towel as the back is a mess!

will definitely add gratitude list to schedule – you have been awesome – now have 4 of yours scheduled between now and end of June xx
